We have done bears out of men's dress shirts, sports shirts, and uniforms, levis, skirts, women's blouses and housecoats, baby blankets, infant outfits, pajamas, flannel sheets, prom dresses and vests. Knits tend to stretch a bit but can make for a very soft bear. Cotton and denim fabrics hold the shape of the bear really well. Silky and thin materials can be done, but don't work quite as well.
